Lecture Content: Addressing the key issues in classroom teaching in Chinese higher education, this lecture combines the research findings and teaching philosophies of effective teaching in international higher education. The Nankai University Effective Teaching NKET Team has independently developed a learner-centered, outcome-oriented O-AMAS effective teaching model and classroom activity design template, empowering teachers to enhance their teaching innovation capabilities, transforming the traditional disconnect between teaching and learning in higher education, and achieving “teaching with method” for teachers and “effective learning” for students. The O-AMAS effective teaching model adopts the OBE teaching design concept, including five components of Objective (O), Activation (A), Multi-learning (M), Assessment (A), and Summary (S). This model is outcome-oriented, driven by positive interaction between teachers and students, and through over a hundred effective interactive activities, aims to create a “classroom with smiles, light in the eyes, benevolence in interactions, and principled thinking and action”, thereby enhancing teacher teaching capabilities and driving quality improvement in talent cultivation in higher education. |
