The Postgraduate Union of the School of International Studies welcomes passionate new members. Whatever your strengths in coordination, creation or execution, you can find your place here. We aim to advance academic development, enrich campus life and shoulder youth responsibilities.

Last year, the union made great achievements. The 15th “Bohai Wind” Academic & Cultural Season held forums, faculty-student tea talks and alumni interviews. The  Understanding Contemporary China Foreign Language Practice Group carried out lectures and volunteer work. It also organized graduation parties and freshmen orientation activities.

Events highlights: The 15th “Bohai Wind” Innovation & Entrepreneurship Sharing Session, The 15th “Bohai Wind” Academic Innovation Forum (Corpus Session / Literature Session) , The 15th “Bohai Wind” Faculty-Student Tea Talk, Alumni interview with Wu Yuze,  Activities of the  Understanding Contemporary China Practice Group, 2026 Postgraduate Graduation Gala, TUST Scholar Lecture (School of International Studies Session), 2026 Freshmen Reception.

Departments

Secretariat: Compile meeting minutes, organize awards selection, design event posters and manage union finances.

Publicity Department: Photograph and record events, draft news articles, make posters and assist other departments with activities.

Academic Department: Organize academic exchanges, including lectures and the “Bohai Wind” series, invite guest speakers and build academic platforms for postgraduates.

Organization & Practice Department: Complete tasks assigned by the university and school authorities, organize cultural, sports and volunteer activities, and cooperate with other teams.
