Graduate School Visited SFL for Research and Guidance on Graduate EducationMon Oct 20 12:41:43 CST 2025To gain a deeper understanding of the current state of postgraduate teaching and education, as well as the setup of independently designed entrance examination papers at the SFL, the graduate school conducted a research visit to the SFL on the morning of May 26, 2025. The meeting was attended by vicedean of the SFL and faculty representatives. Vice Dean Wan Lili of the Graduate School emphasized the importance of the postgraduate public foundation English course in cultivating high-level talent across the university. She pointed out that postgraduate English teaching should keep pace with the trend of AI empowerment, strengthen pedagogical research, and enhance the educational function of English instruction. She discussed with attending faculty members the structure of the public foundation English course within the postgraduate curriculum. Following this, both sides exchanged views on issues such as adjustments to self-designed examination subjects for graduate programs at the SFL. Participants engaged in an in-depth discussion on how to further improve the quality of postgraduate education and management services. The SFL will continue to leverage its distinctive strengths, continuously enhancing the quality of postgraduate public foundation English teaching, making greater contributions to cultivating high-caliber, innovative talents who excel in both moral integrity and professional competence, and to building a high-level research-oriented university. |
