From June 5 to 6, in accordance with the “Improving Quality in Innovation and Entrepreneurship” action of the university’s“Top Tust Plan”, as well as the arrangements for the 2025 China International College Students Innovation Competition university-level contest, the SFL conducted its school-level selection process.

The school-level competition was coordinated by Vice Dean Zhao Guozhu and organized by Wang Yiming. It was conducted in six groups through on-site defense sessions. Each group was evaluated by a panel of three faculty judges, who scored the projects based on innovation, industrial or public welfare value, development potential, and team collaboration.A total of 217 projects were registered from the school, exceeding the required participation target. As a result, the school received one award for full registration and 11 additional awards for overachievement. A total of 173 project leaders participated in the on-site defense sessions, and 55 projects were ultimately selected to advance.The successful projects are distributed as follows: 1) youth red dream building journey track: 8 projects in the creative group, 6 in the public welfare group; 2) higher education main track: 37 undergraduate creative projects, 1 undergraduate startup project, 2 graduate creative projects, 1 industry collaboration trackproject.

The SFL has consistently upheld the fundamental mission of fostering virtue and talent, inherited and promoted the revolutionary “red gene”, and actively advanced innovation and entrepreneurship education. The school will continue to guide students in applying their knowledge to solve real-world problems, helping them enhance their capabilities and grow through innovative practice. The goal is to effectively strengthen students’ innovative spirit, awareness, and capabilities.
