To implement the university’s Top TUST Initiative and give play to the educational strengths of the “Five Elders”, a college admission consultation event for Gaokao applicants was held at Tianjin No.45 High School on June 26. Jointly organized by Xiqing and Hedong Overseas Chinese Federations and local universities, the activity links basic and higher education. Chen Wei from the School’s Working Committee took part in this volunteer service to answer questions for senior students.

Taking place right after Gaokao scores were released, the session provided face-to-face professional advice on admission policies, major selection, disciplinary development and career planning. With abundant teaching experience, Chen Wei patiently advised candidates and parents, explained key application points and guided rational academic planning.

Moving forward, the School’s Working Committee will continue to carry out regular university-local cooperation, admission guidance and inspirational support activities. It will keep mobilizing silver-haired educators to broaden educational paths and support young learners’ growth.
