Visiting Enterprises to Expand Job Opportunities: Deputy Secretary of the TUST Party Committee Jia Qijun Leads a Team for a Visit to Tianjin

To fully implement the project of “Visits to Link Enterprises with Students for Jobs” which aims to assist graduates in achieving high-quality employment, Jia Qijun, Deputy Secretary of the TUST Party Committee, led the SFL leadership along with student counselors to visit Tianjin Foreign Enterprise Expert Service Co., Ltd. Fordeepening school-enterprise cooperation and broadening employment channelson August 2.

Liu Xinghuo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Tianjin Foreign Enterprise Expert Service Co., Ltd., warmly received Jia Qijun and his team by introducing the company’s overall situation. He stated that as one of the earliest professional companies engaged in human resources services in Tianjin, the company adheres to the development purpose of serving Tianjin’s reform and opening up and investment promotion, having formed a comprehensive human resources service system including personnel agency, talent dispatch, business agency, headhunting services, and various consulting and training businesses.

During the discussion, Jia Qijuncame to better understand the company’s development history, main business operations and talent needs, expressing gratitude for the company’s long-term emphasis on supporting talent-related work. He briefly introduced the development history, discipline development, and talent cultivation of TUST, hoping that through this university-enterprise link,the spirit of the third session of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China would be further implemented, promoting a long-term mechanism for talent cultivation and employment work in collaboration with enterprises, precisely matching the supply of talents, uncovering more job resources, and promoting high-quality full employment of graduates. At the same time, he emphasized leveraging the university’s disciplinary and talent advantages to actively expand cooperation with enterprises, providing support and services for enterprise development to achieve win-win outcomes.

Zeng Zhaoye, Secretary of the SFL Party Committee, and Chao Luomeng, Dean of the SFL, introduced the program structure, revision of the talents training programs, and employment situation of the 2024 graduates of the SFL, hoping to take this exchange as an opportunity for both parties to strengthen close cooperation and jointly promote high-quality employment for graduates.

QiuJingkui, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Tianjin Foreign Enterprise Expert Service Co., Ltd., Shi Bo, a member of the Party Committee and Operations Director, Bi Xinsheng, International Business Manager, and Shang Dan, the external liaison of the International Talent Exchange Association all participated in the discussion and introduced the relevant work regarding assisting graduates in employment. Among them, Bi Xinsheng emphasized the Australian nursing program and other four international and domestic dual circulation projects, hoping to establish long-term cooperation with TUST and the SFL through project implementation to cultivate talents with international perspectives and further provide graduates with overseas employment opportunities.

During the discussion, both parties deepened their cooperation intentions in suchareasas student internships, employment, and practical teaching, reaching further consensus on promoting employment efforts. Both sides look forward to using concretely special actions as an opportunity to broaden the cooperation between university and enterprises, achieving a win-win situation for universities, enterprises, and students.

Efforts will be furthered strengthened in visiting enterprises to promote employment by actively visiting employers and conducting in-depth research and analysis of industry development trends and talent demand trends to continuously strengthen talent training programs and explore more quality enterprises and units for graduates, thereby promoting the improvement of graduate employment in both quantity and quality.
