SIS Holds China-Mongolia Youth Friendship ActivityOn July 10, 2026, the China-Mongolia youth friendship activity was held in Room 302, Teaching Building 18, Hexi Campus. Organized by the School’s union and guided by teacher Zhang Wei, the event brought together Mongolian summer camp participants, faculty children and student volunteers. Dean Chaoluomeng and other teachers attended and took group photos with the young participants. With the theme “Young Hearts Build Friendship, Hand in Hand Toward the Future”, the youngsters paired up for exchanges. They shared hobbies, childhood games, travel stories and local food, exchanging folk customs and daily life stories across language barriers and forming sincere cross-border friendship. Witnessed by teachers from both sides, the children flew traditional Chinese kites, which symbolized the everlasting friendship between Chinese and Mongolian youth. Later, they sang the Chinese song Friends together to express their good wishes for lasting friendship. When the activity ended, participants were reluctant to say goodbye. Mongolian students experienced the warmth of their Chinese friends, while Chinese students gained insights into grassland culture. All cherished this precious friendship and hoped to meet again. |
