SIS Leadership Visits and Comforts 2026 Military-Training Freshmen and InstructorsOn September 24, leaders of the School of International Studies visited the military training site to check on the 2026 freshmen and training instructors. They inspected training arrangements, progress and logistics support for the military exercise. The freshmen trained in high spirits with resonant battle cries. Undaunted by the autumn sun, they practiced formation drills earnestly, refining movements and demonstrating the resilience, unity and positive spirit of foreign language students. School leaders observed the training and heard instructors’ reports on training plans and results. They praised the instructors for their rigorous and well-organized training and thanked them for their dedicated work. During breaks, leaders chatted with freshmen to learn about their training experience. He Hua, Party Secretary, encouraged students to value military training as a precious introductory college course, embrace hardship, abide by discipline, strengthen willpower, teamwork and collective honour, and strive for their youthful goals. As an essential component of freshman orientation, military training helps the School fulfill its mission of fostering virtue through education and cultivate high-caliber international talents. The School combines military physical training with ideological guidance, academic initiation and global vision building to help freshmen set lofty ideals and lay a firm foundation for college life. The School will continue to optimize service, safety management and ideological support for the training, helping the freshmen of 2026 begin their university journey with confidence and vigour. |
