The 26th “FLTRP·ETIC Cup” National English Debate Competition for College Students Successfully Concluded at TUST

From March 5 to March 6, the online (preliminaries) and offline (finals) competitions were held at TUST. Organized by the English Speech and Debate Club of the SFL, the contest was welcomed by contestants from different colleges and majors who enthusiastically participated in this competitive selection event. The topics of the two debates were closely related to the theme of the times, which greatly examined the debaters’ critical thinking and English skills. The competition invited Ren Yan, Yi Long, Zhang Wei, and Chen Youyun of the SFL to judge, two of whom commented on the speeches and expressed their recognition of the wonderful performance.

After two matches, Du Yifei, an undergraduate student majoring in English, and Zhang Jinan, anotherone majoring in English would participate in the regional competition on behalf of the University.

Ltd.
