SIS Holds Special Recruitment Session for Coastline International Travel Service

To implement the university’s Top TUST Initiative, meet talent demands in foreign-related cultural tourism and support higher-quality employment for the year 2027 graduates, the School of International Studies hosted a special recruitment presentation for Coastline International Travel Service (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. on September 15. Students majoring in English, Japanese and Translation participated actively. The event built a direct bridge to foreign-related cultural tourism enterprises and broadened high-quality job channels for graduates.

The corporate recruiter introduced the development of Tianjin International Cruise Home Port and international cruise berthing businesses for 2026–2028, sharing industry information on cruise ground reception and multilingual services with real cases of AIDA Cruises and Royal Caribbean. The representative explained internship duties, requirements, benefits and shift arrangements, highlighting posts such as guest registration, customs guidance and multilingual tour guide and interpretation. Students were informed that outstanding interns could be recommended for full-time roles with international cruise companies.

This presentation established a solid university-enterprise platform. It helped students learn about industry prospects and competence requirements for language majors in tourism reception and on-site interpretation, offering guidance for career planning. It also laid the groundwork for deeper industry-university-research cooperation and joint internship bases.

Moving forward, the School will follow trends in foreign trade, cross-border cultural tourism and foreign language education. It will partner with high-quality enterprises to launch more targeted recruitment events. Focusing on employers’ needs, the School will strengthen students’ practical language skills and enhance their employability, helping English, Japanese and Translation majors thrive in international service sectors and achieve win-win collaboration between the university and enterprises.
